At the iHeart Festival, Dua Lipa received a stunning ‘Showgirl’ transformation from renowned hairstylist Chris Appleton. His talent for creating bombshell hair is unparalleled, as demonstrated by the volume and bounce he gave Jennifer Lopez when he reintroduced the ’90s style over a year ago.
Dua decided to put her personal touch on the traditional bouncy blow dry style. She went for a ’60s-inspired beehive with a half pony instead. The hairstyle was so remarkable that it even outshone her beautiful white lace bodysuit. To make her look more glamorous, Chris added extensions to Dua’s hair, resulting in loose, voluminous waves cascading all the way down her lower back.
In his photo caption, Chris exclaimed, “You either go big or go home! Don’t you just love Dua Lipa’s glamorous angel look?” We couldn’t agree more and we’re totally adding it to our Pinterest hair inspo board. Can Chris recreate it on us, please? To complement her hairstyle, Dua’s makeup was flawlessly done by Samantha Lau.
Samantha added a touch of glamour to Dua’s eyes by using real crystals, perfectly complementing her Vegas showgirl appearance. To complete the look, Samantha gave her signature full and well-groomed brows and the perfect nude lip (details yet to be revealed by Samantha). We can’t wait to get our hands on some volume spray to try this stunning look ourselves.
